We also have unlisted property funds with over $900 million assets under management in Australia and $2.5 billion of assets under management in the UK/Continental Europe. Commercial
Stockland's Commercial Property business combines active asset management and customer-focused services in a portfolio of 106 Retail, Office and Industrial properties across Australia. With a total asset value of $8.7 billion, and a development pipeline of $2.8 billion end value (as at 30 June 2008) our Commercial business is focused on maximising investment returns through delivering organic rental growth and developing new investment and trading products.
Retail
- One of the largest retail portfolios in Australia with a sub-regional focus
- Portfolio value of approximately $4 billion with a retail development pipeline of over $1.7 billion end value (as at 30 June 2008)
- 2600 tenants and retail sales over $4.7 billion per year
Office

Industrial

- Properties are strategically positioned in key locations for logistics, infrastructure and employment and intermodal transport.
Residential
Stockland’s residential business has scale and diversity. Encompassing residential communities, apartments and retirement living, the business has an impressive pipeline of 100 projects across the country, with an end value of more than $22 billion (as at 30 June 2008).
Our performance in this market is well recognised and we have been acknowledged with a number of awards for our projects and initiatives across the country. Our strong balance sheet and diverse experience mean we’re well placed to deliver a range of masterplanned and mixed-use communities in growth areas.

UK
We extended our successful business platform and capabilities into the United Kingdom in 2007 through the acquisition of Halladale Group plc, a British property co-investment, trading and development company which has extensive market reach in the UK and an emerging European funds management business.
Stockland UK is focused on the acquisition, development and asset management of retail, commercial and mixed-use projects.
Our UK portfolio under management is over $2.5 billion and our development program has an end value of approximately $1 billion (as at 30 June 2008).
Our expansion into the UK provides an excellent opportunity to leverage our mixed-use development capabilities and property management skills.
