Job Details Including Responsibilities

Business / Financial

· Manage design projects in a commercially astute manner in utilising internal and external resources.

· Manage the design inputs to all projects as agreed with the GM, Regional Managers and profit centre managers.

· Get an understanding of the business planning process and inputs.

· Understand and manage the process that will ensure gaining desirable and timely planning approval for all projects.

· Input to Fixtures list that details a Six Month Forward Calendar of activities and objectives for design resources.

· Understand VIBES builder’s product. Coordinate the selection of seed homes in consultation with the relevant Profit Centre Managers.

· Input to Pillar Projects as requested.

· Input in Cross Divisional workshops as requested.

· Understand and implement Stockland Wave processes on projects.

· Prepare a weekly report detailing the progress and approval of all projects under active design.

· Assist in Acquisitions as requested.

· Be aware of new innovations and ensure that Stockland is at the leading edge of design.

Stakeholder Management

· Understand the need to develop relationships with key stakeholders (whether internal or external) for the Business.

· Suggest ways of building positive awareness of your projects.

· Monitor and manage the performance of design consultants on projects.

· Be aware of new Government policies and industry positions.

People

· Actively support and contribute to the Design team to develop a positive team environment.

· Endeavour to excel.

Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

· Understand the CR&S initiative of Stockland.
