Murrays Beach wins Best Residential Lifestyle Development 2007

On Saturday 13 October 2007, Stockland’s Murrays Beach was the winner of the Best Residential Lifestyle Development at the HIA/CSR Hunter Housing Awards. The Residential Lifestyle Development Award recognises quality residential estate developments, involving either Greenfield, urban refill or environmental renewal situations. As a winner, Stockland’s Murrays Beach will now go to the Australian Housing Awards to be held next year.

The judges were impressed with the innovation displayed by this project. "Murrays Beach, the Wallarah Peninsula development and its design approach have been driven by sustainability principles. Enormous care has been taken in the design of the streets, lots and dwelling pad locations to ensure retention of as many trees as possible and minimise site disturbance."
