Stockland Retail Design & Fitout Guide

Stockland Retail & Design Fitout Guide

Green IS the new black, and with the new Design and Fitout Guide for retail tenancies complete, it will assist us in painting more of a sustainable picture for the business.

With a already functional Design and Fitout Guide in use across our portfolio, it enabled the fusion of tangible ESD criteria into our delivery process. Along with Key objectives are for retailers to achieve is the reduction of energy and water consumption, the better use of fitout materials, proper management of waste and the vision to better manage the practice of their business in a sustainable manner.

To enable the success of these objectives, retailers are required to undertake a set of mandatory minimum design performance criteria relating to ESD within the design and fitout of their store with an opportunity to include additional sustainable value in their tenancy by undertaking a set of optional criteria.

Commencing in February 2008, the “Green is the new black” roadshow will tour Australia visiting centres in our portfolio, retailers and designers outlining the ESD initiatives Stockland are undertaking.
