Ervin Graf founded Stockland in 1952 with a vision to "not merely achieve growth and profits but to make a worthwhile contribution to the development of our cities and great country".

 

Pursuing that vision has seen Stockland grow to become one of Australia's leading diversified property groups - developing and managing a large portfolio of residential community, apartment, retirement living, retail, office and industrial assets.

Commercial

Retail
Our centres meet the needs of our retailers, customers and other stakeholders. We have an impressive track record of implementing innovative design and development in major retail centres, delivering commercially viable outcomes.

Office
Our track record of high portfolio occupancy levels, solid tenant retention and leasing results demonstrate the benefit of our commitment to strong tenant relationships. Our tenants include government departments, blue chip public and private companies.

Industrial
We work hard to meet the storage and access needs of our tenants who include large scale manufacturing, warehousing and logistics companies. Our properties are strategically positioned for logistics, infrastructure and employment.

Intermodal
Within our Industrial business our Intermodal property team works with our rail and logistics customers and partners to pursue the creation of major inland ports in key locations, as we have done at Yennora in western Sydney.

Residential

Residential Communities
Our focus is on the creation of medium and large-scale masterplanned communities in key urban growth markets, ranging in size from 100 lots to 20,000 lots. We create entire communities, considering everything from infrastructure to social factors.

Apartments
We acquire, design, project manage and market apartment and mixed-use projects in urban locations. Know-how from across our businesses enables us to create well thought out developments that appeal to our target markets.

Retirement Living

We specialise in designing, developing and managing lifestyle communities for retirees. This business is a natural fit with our existing residential business, utilising our land bank for future developments while we also expand into medium density retirement living.

UK

We extended our successful business platform and capabilities into the United Kingdom in 2007 through the acquisition of Halladale Group plc, a British property co-investment, trading and development company which has extensive market reach in the UK and an emerging European funds management business. 

Our expansion into the UK provides an opportunity to leverage our mixed-use development capabilities and property management skills.
