The Peter Daly Fellowship was first awarded in 2006 in honour of Peter Daly's significant contribution to Stockland over his 34 year tenure, which included a significant period as Managing Director and Chairman. The Peter Daly Fellowship is awarded to a team of two or three people representing at least two areas of our business.
The objective of the Fellowship is to enable employees to travel overseas to undertake a study tour, a series of project visits or analysis of leading practices that cannot be readily accessed in Australia.
In 2010, the winning team comprised three female employees who completed an overseas study tour on "maximising opportunities for women in leadership". After surveying our female managers about their own experiences and researching leading practices in 20 organisations across five countries, this research has assisted to further refine our gender diversity strategy and initiatives.
