Keeping you updated

Stockland information about Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to evolve across the country, we want to make sure you are updated on the steps we are taking to help continue to protect our communities from the spread of the virus. We have a dedicated team of representatives from across the business who are closely monitoring the latest advice from Government and health authorities, and taking the appropriate action.

In line with the latest Federal and State Government updates, our centres remain open with a set of restrictions in place to provide important services to our local communities. They play an essential role in providing access to fresh food, household items, products, medical services and banking for everyday needs.

The health, safety and wellbeing of our customers, retailers, team members and the wider community is our highest priority so we are taking extra precautions to ensure our centres are clean, hygienic and minimise large scale interactions.

We know this is a unique and changing situation, but we're all in it together. We're proud to be part of a community that can support each other.
Thanks for being part of it too.

What we are doing:

Our centres have continued to remain open throughout the latest outbreak, with high standards of cleanliness and strict hygiene measures in place to help protect you and the wider community. We've increased our cleaning schedules, installed additional hand sanitiser and soap dispensers, cancelled group events in line with State Government regulations and we are proactively encouraging personal hygiene with all our customers, retailers and suppliers.

You may have also noticed our increased focus on social distancing assistance measures, including on-ground markers, queuing systems, signage and regular announcements.

We're committed to maintaining these measures as we enter into this new phase. We’re committed to maintaining these measures as we enter this new phase by undertaking:
• Increased regular cleaning schedules at our centres with particular focus on high touch point areas including lift and travelator handrails, entry points and amenities.
• Installed additional soap and hand sanitiser units.
• Actively promoting hygiene measures and social distancing through signage, videos and announcements in our centres.
• Postponed or cancelled events and continue to monitor plans.

We are working closely with our retailers to continue to help support them through this time.

Good Hygiene and Social Distancing:

Good hygiene protects against infection and helps prevent the virus spreading. This includes:
• Covering your coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue.
• Disposing of tissues properly.
• Washing your hands often with soap and water, including before and after eating and after going to the toilet.
• Using alcohol-based hand sanitisers.
• Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces.
• If you are sick, avoiding contact with others.
• Staying more than 1.5 metres away from people.

We ask all customers to please follow the current Government health orders when visiting our centre especially if you have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or are experiencing flu like symptoms.
