Water Wise

As part of Stockland's commitment to providing sustainable developments, McKeachie's Run will incorporate many 'water-wise' features.
The retention of many existing drainage corridors as open space within the community will create riparian environments to support a range of local fauna and flora. In addition to this, the existing wetland will be integrated into the open space network within McKeachie's Run.
Retaining and remodelling existing farm dams where possible, will be used for offline water treatment. Within the landscaping, plans for utilising drought tolerant plant species will place less demand on our precious resources.
