Island in the heart... future town centre is in the making

Birtinya Island is adjoined to the future Kawana Waters Town Centre which will encompass a new business, retail and entertainment precinct -  residents will be able to enjoy walking to great dining and facilities just a short distance from their own homes.

Calling all medical professionals... live the island life, walk or ride to work

Queensland State Government recently announced the addition of a $60.8M medical training and research centre that will be built alongside the Sunshine Coast's new $2B University Hospital. This will make the medical site alongside Birtinya, the biggest health infrastructure project in Australia. To support the facility it is expected that there will be in excess of 2,500 health workforce jobs. 

Living at Birtinya means health professionals can truly live the island lifestyle with their work only mins walk or ride away.

A ten minute walk will take Birtinya residents directly to Bokarina Beach and kilometres of golden sand and rolling surf.

Here on the wide sandy beach, families can enjoy a day out in the sun swimming, surfing, playing or just simply relaxing with a picnic.
