Costa Homes wins 2011 HIA Display Home Awards

Congratulations to the team at Costa Homes for their recent success at the 2011 HIA Sunshine Coast Awards. 

Their home, the Vee, showcased at the Birtinya Living Display Centre, won the Best Display Home over $400,000 and the Best Display Home of the Year for 2011.

Visit the Vee at 8 Sweep Court in the Living Display Centre between 10am and 5pm daily or visit the Costa Homes website.

Sustainable living comes to Birtinya

The new home on display at the Birtinya Living Display Centre by Planet Homes is being touted as a future model for sustainable living on the Sunshine Coast.

Planet Homes has used new and inventive methods to achieve new levels of energy efficiency in the display home and has created a home that is designed to take advantage of the Sunshine Coast climate.

Thousands celebrate Birtinya Living Display Centre opening

On March 12 Stockland officially launched the coast's newest Living Display Centre, at Birtinya. The day kicked off with Mix FM broadcasting live from the lake edge with loads of family fun including petting zoo, pony rides and a jumping castle. Hundreds of people spent the afternoon wandering through the new display homes experiencing the latest in design.

Visitors to the island continued viewing homes throughout the afternoon and set themselves up for an evening of entertainment with Kim McCosker from 4 Ingredients and local talent Stephanie Brownlee warming up the crowd for the main attraction, Kate Ceberano. Kate performing live at Birtinya was a special experience, she really entertained with young and old dancing and singing along to her own hits and popular covers. The perfect night ended with a spectacular fireworks display.
