Located in the heart of North Lakes Town Centre, Pathways has become the recreational and educational hub of the local area's growing residential community. Pathways was developed in consultation with the residential community and has been designed to create new economic and education opportunities for the entire shire. It is an initiative of Pine Rivers Shire Council in partnership with Education Queensland, the Department of Sport and Recreation, the State Library of Queensland and Stockland. North Lakes Artisans & Farmers Markets feature a great variety of stalls selling fresh produce, including meat, vegetables, fruit, herbs and spices, coffee, fresh flowers and much more. Discover for yourself the taste of freshly harvested fruit and vegetables, much of it organically grown and bought directly from the grower. The markets are held every Sunday from 7am at Lake Eden Park.

Stockland's careful planning has made it easy to get to and from North Lakes, as well as getting around within our community.  North Lakes is currently served by four bus routes totalling 117 bus services operating to and from the community every day. Each bus route ranges from 30 minute to hourly services and connects with destinations such as Petrie Station, Westfield Strathpine, Chermside and Brisbane city.
