Farmers market founder Shane Stanley said the success of the
North Lakes market had exceeded all expectations, prompting the move to
a weekly schedule.
?Our customers know they are not only
getting access to the absolute freshest and healthiest products
available but are also lending their support to local producers,'' Mr
Stanley said.
?We are now offering the same opportunity to
purchase quality non-food products, such as arts and crafts, with the
same locally made criteria as the farmers market.
?The North
Lakes Artisans and Farmers Market will be the first of its kind in
Queensland where mass produced or imported goods are strictly
excluded.''
Mr Stanley said the market is specifically created
to showcase the finest and freshest produce of local producers in the
region.
