North Lakes Town Centre
The North Lakes Town Centre currently features Westfield North Lakes, Pine Rivers Shire's Pathways comprised of North Lakes' Library, Learning and Aquatic Centre and North Lakes Retirement Resort.When completed, the commercial and light industrial areas will provide the potential for employment of up to 13,000 people.
The North Lakes Town Centre is set to become a major retail, commercial, entertainment, social and employment centre for the mid-northern suburbs. Plans are approved for it to include a regional-scale shopping strip and 36 hectares of adjacent commercial services, food services, professional and personal services and employment opportunities.
Located approximately 20 minutes drive from Brisbane Airport, North Lakes is also planned to include a major Mixed Industry and Business Area (MIBA) of 55 hectares which will be a major employment destination for residents in the mid and outer northern suburbs of Brisbane.
