Stockland is pleased to announce that civil works will commence in November for Stage 3C, the final stage of the South Beach Estate. This work will see the creation of 22 residential lots which extend across from Stage 3B that has just been completed and form a small part of the overall South Beach Development.
The works will include upgrading Rollinson Road, constructing a roundabout on the corner of Lancelin Way and Rollinson Road, constructing retaining walls and crossovers.
These works are due to be completed at the end of February 2012.
Once works commence, appropriate occupational health and safety measures will be undertaken to ensure there is no risk to the general public.
Access to the site for vehicles undertaking the works will be via Rollinson Road, Lancelin Way and O'Connor Close.
Water Main Upgrade: Mewstone Crescent. Stockland advise that in conjunction with the works outlined above, Wormall will also be undertaking works to upgrade a water main in Mewstone Crescent from Heirisson Way to Keeling Way. The works have been approved by the Water Corporation and require the existing DN 200 Water Main located in the Keeling Way POS to be connected to a new DN 100mm Water Main outside Lots 268 & 269 Mewstone Crescent. Pedestrian access will be restricted as the Keeling Way Public Access Way will be closed for the duration of the works (November - mid December 2011) and additional construction traffic will be in Mewstone Crescent.
