World-Class Approach
The Stockland Commercial and Industrial division adopt a 'world class' approach to the integration of sustainability initiatives within its portfolio. All facilities, asset, project and development management functions are undertaken internally to maximise sustainability outcomes from each project whilst taking into account the future operation of the assets. Our approach to integrating successful sustainability outcomes is achieved through the
following initiatives:
- High performance full height glazing
- Office lighting comprising T5 fluorescent luminaries with high frequency ballast
- Lighting controlled by zoned time switches, perimeter sensors and after hours override switch
- Air conditioned areas separated into perimeter and internal zones to maximise efficiency
- Multiple chillers and boilers to maximise efficiency across the load range
- Cyclist facilities to encourage and promote the use of bicycles
- On-site rainwater collection
- Water demand sub-metering of base building to monitor and better manage water consumption
