Work commenced in January 2016 on a $414 million expansion of the centre, that will include a brand new David Jones, ten mini-majors, indoor and outdoor 1,700-seat dining precinct, seven screen Hoyts Lux cinema complex plus 175 specialty stores. It will include 3,100 parking spaces and over 220 specialty stores upon completion mid-2018.
