Spending time outdoors and soaking up the green open spaces is something we all love to do - engaging with our surroundings is part of what makes us feel alive.

Stockland is renowned for creating outstanding parks and playgrounds that encourage outdoor play, exercise and gatherings. Our vibrant Calleya community in Perth’s south-east features four popular examples, along with a network of pathways to safely walk, ride or cycle throughout the community.

Our aptly named Adventure Park, with its 190 metre junior BMX pump track, has not only set a benchmark for outdoor play but has become a key regional attraction for families.

While the inclusive track provides endless fun for junior riders of all levels, the 9,500 square metre park also features climbing nets, sand and musical play elements, swings and a merry-go-round to delight youngsters as well as bringing neighbours and friends together.

Our residents tell us they feel highly connected with their environment at Calleya because they live close to parks and the natural environment, with the community scoring a 90 per cent satisfaction rate in the Stockland Liveability Index.

It is hard to imagine now, but Calleya was once a dormant sand quarry. It has been transformed into a thriving, environmentally sensitive community with a coveted 6 Star Green - Communities rating, carefully designed to encourage residents to enjoy its multitude of recreational and open spaces.

A popular choice for families, Calleya is buzzing with activities such as free movie nights, walking groups and Live Life Get Active outdoor fitness classes. The community’s four-legged residents haven’t been forgotten with a dog park and free dog training sessions, which are a joint partnership between Stockland and the RSPCA.
