The first land release at Mt Atkinson has proven a huge hit. All 84 lots sold out in the space of just one weekend!
In the lead up to the launch of Victoria’s brand new Mt Atkinson community, located in Truganina 25km west of Melbourne CBD, there were an impressive 7,000+ interested buyers for just 84 lots.
On 18th November 2017, Stockland hosted the first land release with all 84 lots selling out over the space of one weekend. That means that there were more than 80 registered buyers for each lot in the first release. David Allington, Stockland's Regional Manager for Residential Communities in Victoria said this level of demand for a residential community is unprecedented.
To deal with such a high demand, a special online sales approach was implemented. This allowed buyers to apply online for an expression of interest ticket prior to being able to make a purchase, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
Mt Atkinson will ultimately be home to up to 5,000 families. More land is due to be released at Mt Atkinson throughout 2018.
