Liveability at Altrove

How Altrove creates liveability

At Altrove, we know it takes a lot more than bricks and mortar to create a thriving community. Our annual Liveability Index Survey measures what matters to our residents, so we can design our communities around what’s important.

The Liveability Index Survey invites feedback on all aspects of the community - from quality of built and natural environments, to how it's design supports mental and physical wellbeing. Watch more about it below.

Here’s what we’re doing to improve^

Altrove temporary community hub

We are still planning to deliver a temporary community hub, café and play spaces. The space will provide the community with an interim amenity until the permanent Village Centre can be delivered. The space is now proposed to be located adjacent to the recently completed TNSW commuter carpark with access via the extension of Altrove Boulevard and Calder Street. The roadworks are planned to be completed in early 2023 and have been delayed beyond the opening of the TNSW commuter carpark due to extensive supply chain delays for critical storm water pipes.

Once the updated plans for the temporary community hub have been finalised with Council, we will share the plans as part of the Development Application (DA) approval process. We hope to obtain approval in early 2023 to enable construction commencement once the link roads have been constructed. The delivery of this key interim amenity has been delayed due to the acquisition and development of the TNSW commuter carpark.

Continue to enhance and improve the quality of Hilltop Park

Comprehensive works at Altrove's Hilltop Park to enhance the quality of play equipment, seating and installation of new fitness equipment is now complete. The embellishments are suitable to the scale of the local community and complementary to the existing space, improving the quality of our parks and environment. We will continue to undertake some minor refurbishment works over the coming months, as we work towards handing over the park to Council later this year.

Provide activities and events that foster community engagement

We want you to feel part of the community and get to know your neighbours at regular events. So we will be holding a variety of events throughout the year from school holiday activities for the kids, to weekly boot camp sessions and more! Make sure you visit our 'News and Events' page, and follow us on Facebook to find more details.
