Stockland is upgrading Denham Court Road between Jamboree Avenue and Commissioners Drive. It will provide a more efficient and safer journey as well as improving connections into and out of the area. What to expect in the short term……

Early works start on 2 September 2019 and will take around two months. You will notice the following:

• Site compound establishment at 365 Denham Court Road;
• Tree clearing along both sides of Denham Court Road, between Jamboree Avenue and Fox Valley Road. These works will be undertaken between 6pm and 6am, Monday to Friday for a two-week period of time
• Installing semi-permanent traffic control devices (concrete barriers, speed limit signs and roadwork signage) to ensure the safe and efficient progress of works onsite;
• Establishing a works area within the WaterNSW Upper Canal in preparation for bridge works;
• Adjustment to the existing potable water main nearby Pennyroyal Boulevard;
• Installation of 1.8 metre high chain mesh fencing on Denham Court Road. The fencing installed will limit direct access from Denham Court Road to adjacent properties. Access will be maintained through Pennyroyal Boulevard.

Changes to traffic………

During the works, the speed limit along Denham Court Road will be reduced to 40 km/h between Jamboree Avenue and Fox Valley Road. Traffic control crews will frequently attend site during the first several weeks of the project until such time as the semi-permanent traffic control devices are implemented.

Further traffic changes will be implemented as construction progresses (as detailed in the attached fact sheet). To ensure the safety of residents, motorists and construction staff, we request your cooperation at all times in complying with the implemented traffic control devices, changes to speed limits and any instruction from traffic control crews onsite.

Please rest assured that JK Williams is committed to completing these works as quickly as possible and with as little inconvenience and impact to the public as possible. Your patience and assistance with ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently is greatly appreciated.

Work hours……

Work will generally be undertaken during standard construction hours, Monday to Friday, between 7am and 5pm. For safety reasons or to minimise impacts, work may need to occur outside of these hours and potentially at night.

Additional upgrades to St Andrews Road

The road upgrade is being constructed by our neighbouring community, Emerald Hills, and working closely with Stockland.

The upgrade will provide a connection to the Emerald Hills Estate and access to their recently delivered retail precinct including a Woolworths and Aldi.

A roundabout will be constructed at the St Andrews Road and Jamboree Avenue intersection with feature landscaping.
