Before we bid farewell to 2022, let's take a moment to look back and celebrate the milestones.
As we close out the end of 2022, we’ve taken a moment to reflect on one of the busiest years to date at our thriving Aura community.
School is in session!
This year saw Aura welcome its third brand new school, Nirimba State Primary School. With state-of-the-art facilities and a modern STEAM teaching environment, students have access to purpose-built Science, Robotics, Performing and Creative Arts, and Sporting spaces and classrooms.
Parks and play
Joining 15 established parks & playgrounds was the rawww-some opening of Dino Park in Nirimba, bringing Aura’s park tally to 16, and counting! Featuring a climbable ‘Aura-saurus’, the architecturally designed park offers interactive Jurassic themed activities for kids of all ages. This year, Baringa State Forest Park was also opened, and adds to a number of other nature trails available for residents to enjoy.
Brand-new ‘Burbs
Aura’s newest suburb Banya, saw its first residents move in, whilst a new premium precinct in Nirimba, The Avenues, was announced.
New in town
Local favourite Mummy’s Café, launched its popular Beer Garden event series and now enjoys a permanent home next to Aura’s new Vision Centre at the gateway to the Future Aura City. Plus, Aura’s third Display Village opened next door, showcasing 35 brand-new homes.
Expanding Offerings Construction has continued to progress on Sunshine Mitre 10 in Aura’s Business Park, as well as the highly anticipated Bells Creek Arterial Road extension, which is set to open in mid-2023*. The development of EG Fuel petrol station, a service centre and the Aura Hotel were announced, and residents saw McDonalds open just in time for the Christmas school holidays.
*Any future infrastructure referenced is proposed for Stockland Aura as at 22.12.2022. The delivery and location of proposed infrastructure, facilities, amenities, services and destinations is indicative only and may change due to future circumstances.
