Stockland has welcomed 60 new residents to its award-winning Aura community on the Sunshine Coast.

Stockland has welcomed 60 new residents to its award-winning Aura community on the Sunshine Coast.

The Elements is the newest residential village within the future city’s first suburb of Baringa, ideally located within a quiet pocket of 400 hectare conservation zone and Blackbutt Forest, and just a short stroll to a future 10 hectare recreational park.

Ben Simpson, Regional Manager for Stockland, said the official launch of The Elements last month was a perfect opportunity for future residents to get to know their neighbours and soak in the stunning streetscapes which are unique to the village.

“The launch was also a great chance for those who are considering buying their dream home in our exciting new community to come down and get a first-hand experience of what Aura is all about,” Mr Simpson said.

“We had a great turnout of those who have already bought a home in The Elements as well as prospective buyers and their families and friends, and I’m sure there were plenty of new friendships made on the day.”

Positioned on the south-eastern boundary of Baringa, with many blocks enjoying views of the range to the north and the Blackbutt Forest to the south, The Elements precinct will include some of the largest lots to ever be offered at Aura

Blocks are being released in stages and The Elements will cater to a wide range of budgets and lifestyles. Home sites in the latest land release range from 375 square metres to 681 square metres and are priced from $279,400 to $344,500.

The Elements has been designed to complement the surrounding natural environment and will feature tree-lined streets, manicured footpaths and exclusive entry statements.

Home sites will be governed by special building guidelines that encourage the use of raw materials, contemporary architectural design and a high standard of landscaping.

The Elements will be close to all of Aura’s facilities, including the future town centre, schools, shops, transport links, parks and business and employment opportunities.

Aura has recently taken out the Project Innovation award at the 2017 Property Council of Australia/Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation & Excellence Awards for its unique approach to community consultation and world-leading sustainability initiatives.

Aura was also recently acknowledged by the Green Building Council of Australia as Australia’s most sustainable greenfield masterplanned community.

Stockland will create more than 20,000 new homes at Aura over the next 30 years and the future city will feature a vibrant city centre and retail hub, extensive South Bank style urban parkland, an elite sporting and performance precinct, numerous schools and education centres, and two business and enterprise parks.
