Locals will be able to experience the first taste of the Kalina Springfield lifestyle next month, with The Café Kalina by Luvbites set to open alongside the new Panorama Park at Kalina Springfield.
The new cafe opening will set up in a temporary location in the heart of the community.
Positioned near a large explorative park, the business will support the increased bustle of activity as Porter Davis, Metricon Homes and Brighton Homes continue to break ground on the community’s first display homes.
David Laner, Queensland General Manager for Residential Communities at Stockland, said the first of many local businesses setting up shop marked an exciting time for the community.
“With construction now well underway, we’re already starting to see the opportunity for increased local business activity and look forward to enjoying the The Café Kalina’s hospitality from Monday 25th November,” Mr Laner said.
“It’s exciting to see the $126 million highly liveable community start to take shape so quickly, and we expect to see more local announcements and events over the coming months.”
Just 31.5km from Brisbane’s CBD, the master-planned community has been designed to create the perfect balance for those looking to escape busy city living, without sacrificing convenience.
Kallina will provide easy access to a wealth of community hubs, with three childcare centres, four schools, Orion Springfield Central, medical facilities, the Mater Private Hospital and cutting edge sporting facilities within a five kilometre radius.
Meanwhile, two train stations and a proposed bus stop will be positioned close by, ensuring commuters will enjoy easy access to the Centenary Highway and Ipswich Motorway.

Comprising of a range of affordable house and land, and land packages, the first set of residential homes are due to be completed in time for residents to enjoy their first Christmas at Kalina. The display village currently under construction is set to open in May 2020.
Kalina Springfield's latest land release includes 10 lots ranging in size from 358sqm to 521sqm, with prices starting from $283,900 for those remaining.
The median house price of a home in Springfield is currently $435,000, making the house and land packages at Kalina comparable with established home prices in the suburb.
