A much-loved activity at Green Leaves Newport are the Chef-led culinary classes where children learn about healthy foods, the joys of cooking and how to prepare delicious and nutritious meals. Culinary classes assist in developing the children’s fine and gross motor skills through cutting, mixing and measuring ingredients under the guidance of the centre’s in-house Chef.
The centre’s edible gardens are an integral part of the children’s culinary classes, where they plant and nurture seeds, watching them grow into the freshest of ingredients for their meals.
