Clear blue skies and shimmering lakes lap against the kilometres of bike paths and walkways that wrap around Newport’s perfectly presented, designer built houses and townhomes.

Grab a freshly brewed coffee and baked good from Pilpel Express and soak in this idyllic backdrop at Newport’s various state-of-the-art lakeside and neighbourhood parks.

NEWPORT PARK
Overlooking the local canals is the fully fenced playground, Newport Park. With its central location next to local café favourite Pilpel Express, this park is the perfect spot for a group catch up, weekend family brunch, or just a place to relax and unwind whilst the children play.  Bring spades and buckets and watch small children revel in the sand-based play area and swing sets. Bigger kids can be curious and adventurous through the various series of ladders, bridges, climbing nets and slides.

SPINNAKER PARK
Lining Lakeview Prominade is Newport’s state-of-the-art Spinnaker Park. Its position on Newport Lake makes the park a perfect launch area for non-motorised water craft such as boards and kayaks.

Spinnaker Park also boasts an innovative playground designed in collaboration with the Touched By Olivia Foundation to ensure children of all abilities can play together, including those with physical disabilities and spectrum disorders such as autism.  Its nautical themed play ship, coir rope swing, climbing nets, slides, sand and water play activities encourage children’s imaginations to run wild.
