This milestone comes just days after the Courier Mail announced Pallara to be one of Brisbane's top growth suburbs.

Construction has started on one of Brisbane’s largest residential display villages at Stockland’s Pallara community.

The Stockland Pallara Display Village will feature 34 high-tech homes from leading local and national builders, with Metricon, Neptune Homes, Clarendon and Bask Homes already making considerable progress on their new display homes.

David Laner, Regional Manager at Stockland, said he was delighted to see the display village starting to take shape in the new community.

“The construction of a display village is a significant milestone in any new masterplanned community and we are excited that work has started on the Pallara Display Village,” Mr Laner said.

“This new display village will feature stunning homes that showcase the latest innovative trends in home design.

“We are looking forward to welcoming homebuyers to our new display village, which will give them a true sense of how close our community is to all the conveniences of modern life.”

The Pallara Display Village is due to open in March 2018.

Future residents have started to build their new homes in the community which, at just 19km from the CBD, offers buyers a prime location for convenient, family-friendly living at its very best.

“Stockland Pallara offers buyers one of the last opportunities to build a brand-new home in a masterplanned community close to the heart of Brisbane,” Mr Laner said.

“As well as local parks, kilometres of walking and cycling tracks, and a proposed neighbourhood retail centre, residents will also be within easy reach of three motorways, the Centenary Highway and existing retail, entertainment, medical and educational facilities.”

Surrounded by lush natural bushland, Stockland Pallara will feature around 720 new homes and more than 2,000 residents on completion.

More than 230 homes have already been sold in the community to a range of buyers, including first home owners, young families, larger families and upgraders.

Infrastructure works in the community are also well under way with the upgrade to Gooderham Road, to include four lanes of traffic and a bike lane, almost completed.

Home sites in the latest land release range in size from 313 square metres to 724 square metres. Land prices range from $266,900 to $408,500, giving buyers at different life stages the opportunity to build their dream home.
