There are two crucial milestones for many couples – having children and buying their first home.

Lakhvir and Rajwinder Sidhu recently experienced both special occasions, after receiving the keys to their new Pallara home in April just in time to welcome their second child to the family in May.

“We’re still settling in but have recently completed a few finishing touches like the deck and the gardening,” Lakhvir said.

“We love Pallara because it’s close to work and our son Prithveer’s school – it’s a good location for a new community.”

Lakhvir and Rajwinder welcomed their daughter Vani to the family in May, who they say is settling in well.

“She’s going well and is nice and quiet,” Lakhvir said.

The family’s spacious house has four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, two media rooms and a double lock-up garage, all set across one level.

Built on a 571 square metre corner block, Lakhvir says it’s the best street address in the neighbourhood.

“And we’re just down from the huge 5,000 square metre park,” he said.

“In fact, we even recommended Pallara to one of our friends who has settled on a block across the road and began building his first home in May.”

The couple also benefited from the Queensland First Home Owners’ Grant which assisted them out of the rental market.

“People often stop for a look at our house and then head down and ask the sales team for the same sized block. We’re very lucky,” he said
