Set in the green Ripley Valley with a Flinders Peak backdrop, Providence offers a wonderful range of parks and playgrounds for children of all ages.
With its streams and jets of bubbling water, climbing adventures and sun-safe sails, our Splash ‘n’ Play waterpark and outdoor adventure playground is fun for everyone from toddlers to teens. Fire up one of the BBQs and make a day of it or pick up a treat from Forty West café while you keep an eye on the kids.
The waterpark is open from 8am to 6pm daily in the warmer months (1 September – 31 March) and 10am to 4pm from the 1 April – 31 August. BBQs and sun shelters cannot be reserved, so get in early to secure your spot. Splash ‘n’ Play is free for everyone.
Green spaces are a feature of life in Providence. Our first major sportsground, Ironbark Park is already open and home to Ripley Valley Football Club seniors, women’s and junior teams. There are two basketball arches around the community and space for budding netballers to shoot hoops. The yogis out there will love Providence Yoga Circle while those looking for an gym can save some money and take advantage of the outdoor fitness park!

We celebrated our furry friends in 2019 with the opening of our first dog park. The off-leash areas cover about 2,500 square metres and with a number of new dog-friendly features. The off-leash dog areas are separated into two different spaces; one for small dogs and one for larger dogs and include canine agility equipment and sheltered areas.
