This shopping spot is also ideally positioned close to the library, council offices, hospital and Caboolture Hub. Just down the road is also Morayfield Shopping Centre. This regional retail hub has everything you need, from Coles and Woolworths through to Kmart, Target and Big W. There is also a movie cinema and over 150 specialty stores on one convenient level.  

TOUR THE TOWN 

As one of the oldest established areas in the region, Caboolture is a historical town conveniently located near Rivermont. Take a stroll through town and discover heritage sites, museums, a thriving entertainment precinct and more. Caboolture hub is also an award-winning community venue at the heart of the Caboolture CBD, and at this complex, you will find the Learning and Business Centre, Caboolture Library and Caboolture Regional Art Gallery.  

EXPLORE THE OUTDOORS 

From the Glasshouse Mountains through to D’Aguilar National Park, and all that lies in between, Rivermont is nestled amongst a number of beautiful hiking trails and bushland to explore. Caboolture River is also surrounded by various parklands to enjoy, with certain areas zoned for watercraft activities.  Sheep Station Creek Conservation Park is also just down the road from Rivermont. Protected since 1977, this park offers walkers and horse riders a quiet and easy escape into nature.  Comprised of 231 hectares, the bushland reserve is abundant in wildlife including different species of birds, reptiles, butterflies, marsupials and mammals. Plus, its open, grassy forests provides an ideal habitat for the resident koala, wallaby, short-beaked echidna, and local sugar glider families. 

MEET AT A MUSEUM 

There are a number of adventures to enjoy near Rivermont, including a range of unique museums to visit. The Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology is an Australian public museum dedicated to the preservation and display of antiquities, fine art, archaeology and cultural heritage, whilst the Caboolture Historical Village is home to over 100, 000 historical Australian exhibits. Plane enthusiasts will also love the Caboolture Warplane Museum, which is dedicated to preserving and publicly displaying artefacts from Australian Aviation History with reference to WW2 and Vietnam. A cool fact here is that most of the warplanes on display can still fly!  

BASK IN A BEACH 

Take a drive and discover a number of beautiful beaches and coastal towns near Rivermont. 21km away, is the town of Beachmere.  Surrounded by nature, this is a place where you can enjoy relaxed walks along a beachfront, launch into the Caboolture River, or visit the nearby nature reserve. If you’re looking for a buzzing coastal town, you’ll find it at Sandstone Point! On offer here is a hotel featuring a restaurant, bar, beach club, kids playground… and of course, beaches! 

There are also wineries to discover, sporting clubs to join, parklands for picnics, strawberry picking and plenty more… the list is endless when it comes to what’s on offer near Rivermont!
