A new entry road has opened at Stockland’s Stone Ridge community in Narangba, providing a third entry point to the thriving community.

Work is now complete on the upgrade to Omara Road, giving Stone Ridge residents access to their community from an eastern direction for the first time.

Stockland has worked with BMD Urban and Ace Landscapes to complete the road.

Ben Simpson, Stockland Regional Manager for the Sunshine Coast, said the road’s completion is the final key piece of infrastructure for the well-established community.

“The completion of Omara Road is a significant milestone for Stone Ridge, and residents will definitely benefit from increased travel options as well as reduced travelling times,” Mr Simpson said.

“Not only that, but the road also offers residents the fastest route to Narangba Train Station, which is now just a three-minute drive away for anyone who commutes to work by train.”

The extended road, which runs adjacent to Burpengary Road, meets Stone Ridge Boulevard at a striking new entry point made from recycled timber and colourful trees including Flame trees and Poincianas.

“Stone Ridge has been a community at one with nature since its outset, with its 8.5-hectare Urban Ecological Corridor, nature park and environmental boardwalk,” Mr Simpson said.

“This new entry point is a perfect way to welcome residents home, and provides visitors with a stunning visual statement of what life at Stone Ridge is all about.”

Stone Ridge is a $126 million community in Narangba, halfway between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast in the Moreton Bay region’s thriving growth corridor.

The 47 hectare masterplanned community has been designed as a walkable community, where residents are just a short stroll from parks, open space, schools, childcare centres, retail options and bus stops.

Conveniently located within a few minutes’ drive of Narangba Train Station, Stone Ridge residents are also close to Westfield North Lakes, and have easy access to the Bruce Highway.

A popular choice for families and first home buyers, 85 per cent of lots at Stone Ridge have now sold out, with the latest land release offering home sites tucked away at the southern end of the community close to Omara Road.

A range of lots are currently available, priced from $210,300 to $261,900 and ranging in size from 320 square metres to 519 square metres.

House and land packages are also available starting from $381,360 for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home.

“With the First Home Owners Grant of $20,000 extended to December 31st, this means a first home buyer could secure a brand-new home in at Stone Ridge for just $361,360,” Mr Simpson said.
