It was a PAW-Tastic day out at the official Belyando Park opening

The sun was shining for Vale's PAW-Tastic day out as hundreds gathered at the Belyando Park for its official opening on Sunday 30th July.

Councillor Stacey McIntosh and the hon Bert Van Manen did the honours in cutting the ribbon along with resident Maia who won the 'name Vales park' competition.

Many families with their dogs and puppies took advice from Jason the pet coach, Logan animal welfare and the Beenleigh pet hospital. There were market stalls and 40 dogs walked away clean after their free dog wash.

But you didn't have to own a dog to attend. Many came to meet Nick Jr.'s Chase and Marshall from PAW-Patrol. While others watched the flyball dog group in awe, showing off their skills on the agility course.

The little ones had a ball in the playground with 3 slides, in-ground trampolines swings and climbing equipment.

A big thank you goes to Mask Events who coordinated the day and to everyone who attended from near and far.

Belyando Park is located on Belyando Street in the Vale at Holmview community.
