The new million dollar park under construction & due to open at the end of may in Vale at Holmview. It is expected to set a new benchmark for outdoor play in the Logan growth corridor.

An impressive multi-million dollar park in Stockland’s Vale community at Holmview is expected to set a new benchmark for outdoor play in the Logan growth corridor.

The proposed 1.4 hectare park currently under construction on Belyando Street features a range of exciting state-of-the art play equipment designed to capture the imagination of children of all ages, from toddlers to teens.

Highlights of the $1 million park will be a sheltered area with a multi-level play tower, in-ground trampolines, a tunnel slide and a spinning carousel.

Other attractions include a large kick about area for sports, sheltered picnic benches and sandstone seating walls for chilling out and off leash areas for small and large dogs.

David Laner, Regional Manager for Stockland, said he hoped the proposed park would follow in the footsteps of Vale’s first play space, Valley View Park, which quickly became a drawcard for families in the region.

“At Stockland we are committed to creating a legacy of high quality parks, playgrounds and open spaces that will be enjoyed for years to come,’’ Mr Laner said.

“This vibrant play space will provide children with hours of fun whether they are bouncing around on the in-ground trampolines, climbing to new heights on the tower, playing ball games or just relaxing in the beautiful surrounds with friends or family.”

Vale’s well-established adventure-themed Valley View Park, which has been the setting for many of Stockland’s free community events, features playground equipment for all ages, barbecue facilities, a kick about area, an amphitheatre and walking and bike paths.

Stockland also sponsors free outdoor activity camps in the park. The Live Life Get Active camps, which are open to Vale residents and locals from surrounding areas, include 45-minute classes in cross-training, boxing and yoga each Monday to Friday during school terms.

Stockland has been experiencing strong demand for land at Vale from buyers keen to secure new affordable homes close to services and facilities in the thriving Logan growth corridor .

The latest home sites are in close proximity to the new park with some of them boasting park views. Home sites in the current release range from 320m2 to 464m2, with the lots priced from $215,200.
