We are very lucky in Melbourne that we don’t have to look too hard or trek too far to find really great coffee.

With Braybrook being only 12kms from the CBD, 3kms from Highpoint Shopping Centre and within walking distances to some great cafes, we really are spoilt for choice!

We get that it’s not easy finding the best coffee in town and it can take time to find your favourite local spot. Rejoice that we have happily done all the coffee-tasting research for you. Find all of our favourite brews below. Hopefully one of them will become your new local when you move into your new home at Orion Braybrook.

Braybrook STN
Location: Central West Shopping Centre, Corner Ashley Street and South Road, Braybrook
When you walk in the main entrance, you will see Braybrook STN to your left - you won’t miss it. Braybrook STN is a funky and fresh cafe that serves really great coffee, it’s one of our favourites in the area. The beautiful wooden, white and teal interior make Braybrook STN a calming place to enjoy your morning coffee or breakfast. We love that you can see the chefs cooking up a storm in the hole-in-the-wall kitchen.

Espresso Bar
Location: Central West Shopping Centre, Corner Ashley Street and South Road, Braybrook
Also located in Central West Shopping Centre is Espresso Bar, you'll find it just in front of Coles Supermarket. It's perfect if you want to grab a quick coffee on the run.

Dumbo
Location: 11 Argyle Street, West Footscray
Who doesn't love a cosy cafe with a white picket fence? Dumbo is the perfect place to meet friends for brunch and coffee, when the weather is nice you can enjoy your meal out in the sunshine. Dumbo has an upmarket menu with a great range of coffee, teas and juices.

Dumbo is located next door to Footscray West Primary School and less than 2kms from the heart of Braybrook. We even found this amazing street artwork just across the road.

Churchill Cellars and Coffee
Location: 158-160 Churchill Ave, Braybrook
Churchill Cellars and Coffee is a laid-back little spot on the Churchill strip. It's part of Cellarbrations and is great for a take-away coffee on the go. There's a few table and chairs set up outside if you wanted to take some time to enjoy the sunshine.

It is located right next to this funky little laneway with public art that we just had to share.

Da Coffee Bean
Location: 252 Ballarat Road, Braybrook
Da Coffee Bean is the local drive thru coffee stop where you can get coffees, teas, smoothies and muffins quickly. The service here is convenient and fast, perfect if you are in a hurry, on the way to work or during school-drop offs.

Harley and Rose
Location: 572 Barkly Street, West Footscray
Harley and Rose is usually famous for their food and cocktails, however you need to try their coffee! It's a really funky venue, great if you want to meet up with friends for a meal or a drink.

West 48
Location: 48 Essex Street, Footscray
West 48 is the perfect hipster spot for a weekend brunch, we taste tested their coffee and it was delightful. The cafe is funky, the food is delicious and the staf here are very welcoming and friendly.

Brother Nancy
Location: 182 Essex Street, West Footscray
Brother Nancy is another of our favourites in the area, the exterior is quite grunge and hipster looking however when you walk in the door it's like you're walking into a cosy home-away-from home. If you are staying for the delicious food, try and get the seats in the front window, it's so lovely sitting and watching the day go by. A popular spot for good coffee and good times.
