Surrounded by some of the best international flavours in the west, you’ll be living the foodie dream at Stockland Orion! With old favourites and new places popping up in the area all the time, the locals are loving the dining and the reviews show it.
Keen to check out some of the dining for yourself? Here are some tasty local eats to get you started...

Ms Ha (1km) – The locals love this authentic take on Asian street food. Their offering is seriously delicious, and the best part is you can walk around the corner and you’re there. Warm up this winter with a steaming hot, tasty bun bo hue.

Blue Bamboo (2.2km) - Delicious Vietnamese in a beautiful setting only three minutes from home. Eat-in and sit amongst the tropical flower garden, it feels like you are on holiday in Vietnam! Delicious - try their Shaking Beef on tomato rice!

Chibog (3km) – In only 5 minutes you can be seated in this ambient Filipino restaurant, which has opened to rave reviews! Janine Barican started Chibog to satisfy her own cravings of the tasty food she loves from home. Try their creamy Kare-Kare and be sure to save room for dessert. By the way - they have a delicious cocktail menu, so leave the car at home!

Harley & Rose (3.1km) - Your new local! Italian and wine, less than a 5 minute drive from Stockland Orion. Warm up at a table near the pizza oven for family dinner or have a drink with friends in the front yard. Their woodfire pizza is so good! Bonus - only one stop to pick up take-away! You can order from the wine list at their in-house bottle shop.

Gordon Street Bakery (4.3km) – The line out the door says it all! It’s no secret, we have a French pastry chef in the neighbourhood! Wil’s specialty is his sourdough bread, but if you love an almond croissant, you won’t be disappointed. The olive bread and cheese sticks are also fan favourites.

Other local eats to check out are Pho Hung Vuong (4km) for the best pho in the west, Jantra Thai (3km) for their green chicken curry and Aangan (3km) for amazing butter chicken. The list goes on! Head to Barkly Street, West Footscray (4.1km) for a range of Indian, Ethiopian and Asian flavours. Travel 5 minutes in the opposite direction to Hampshire Road, Sunshine and you will find many more eateries, plus a range of Asian grocers.

You won’t need to travel far from home to enjoy the multicultural delights that Melbourne is famous for, all within a short distance of Stockland Orion.
