The announcement of Cloverton's 6 Star Green Star rating is really exciting for future Cloverton residents as it means they will be living in one of the most sustainable and environmentally friendly communities in the world.
Cloverton - A Green, Eco-Friendly, Sustainable World-Class Community
Cloverton has received a highly coveted 6 Star Green Star- Communities rating from the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA). The 6 star rating recognises world leadership across a wide range of environmental, economic and social sustainability measures.
Cloverton is the largest residential development ever undertaken under single ownership in Victoria and the first city-sized mixed use development to be awarded a 6 Star Green Star - Communities rating. In time, Cloverton will evolve into a city in its own right, covering 1,141 hectares and providing homes for 30,000 people, a city centre, train station, extensive parklands, numerous sporting fields, a medical precinct, a community garden, a retirement village, eight schools and a tertiary institution.

Mike Davis, Stockland's General Manager Residential Victoria explained there was a multitude of factors contributing to Cloverton's 6 Star rating. Future residents will be within walking distance of Donnybrook Train Station, have convenient access to the Hume Freeway, and will be only 15 minutes from all existing services and amenities at Highlands.
