Treat dad and enjoy free family fun at Cloverton's Dwyer Street cafe!

The popular Dwyer Street Cafe is inviting families to enjoy free coffee and a sausage sizzle, as well as a range of activities and entertainment including a nine-hole mini golf course and table tennis, on Saturday,1 September, from 11am to 1pm.


Also on offer will be face painting, a craft station where kids can create a Father’s Day card, a playground for children, and games including Giant Jenga, Giant Noughts and Crosses and Giant Connect Four.


Ed Krushka, Project Director at Stockland, said that everyone was welcome to join in the fun at the cafe, as Cloverton celebrated the importance of all dads in the family-friendly community.


“We’re inviting the whole community - and especially all dads - to come along and enjoy the festivities at the Dwyer Street Cafe,” Mr Krushka said.


“There’ll be great coffee and lunch on offer, mini-golf, outdoor games, an exciting adventure playground and two face painters on hand to help keep children entertained.


“Stockland is committed to building strong communities, and the Father’s Day community event  at Dwyer Street Cafe will provide another opportunity for neighbours to meet in a fun, social setting and enjoy the wonderful facilities Cloverton has to offer.”       


The Dwyer Street Cafe, on the corner of Dwyer Street and Design Way, Kalkallo,  is open 9am to 4pm on Monday through to Friday and from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Although registration is not required for the 1 September celebration, people are encouraged to indicate their attendance on the Stockland Cloverton Facebook page.
