Government has announced almost $2 million in funding for projects in Highlands including a softball centre and a playground.

The funding for the projects is supported by additional contributions by Stockland and Hume City Council.

The two projects in Highlands include:

- $1.5 million to a new Aitken Hill Softball Centre - This softball pitch will be the first in Craigieburn. It is right next to where future Mt Aitken village residents will live.

- $450,000 for a playground in front of the popular Hume Tennis & Community Centre, located near our Vista & The Bridges villages.

The funding supports the Government, Hume City Council and Stockland's commitment to provide Craigieburn Residents with great facilities.
