"The completion of this project will ease congestion and mean less time for commuters on the road and more time for the important things, such as spending time with family and friends." - Butler MLA Hon. John Robert Quigley.

Great news for Amberton Beach residents, with the duplication of the single-lane stretch between Camborne Parkway in Butler and Yanchep Beach Road, Yanchep. Now four lanes, along 11.5km of Marmion Avenue from Butler to Yanchep and providing a faster commute for drivers in the rapidly growing northern corridor of Perth.

The $23M project forms part of a suite of major transport infrastructure projects underway in Perth's northern suburbs to ease congestion, create local jobs and provide opportunities for local businesses. Other major projects include the Yanchep Rail Extension and the Mitchell Freeway Extension from Hester Avenue to Romeo Road.
