Our sod-turn event marked the start of our Stage 2C of The Terraces at Calleya

Construction has commenced on the Stage 2C of The Terraces in Stockland's highly sought after masterplanned community Calleya, located within Perth's growing southern corridor. Stage 2C will be the final and largest stage of the Terraces. Fast-tracking an additional 28 homes, the project will have a total of 73 Terrace homes being built concurrently.

The multi-million dollar development has been accelerated to meet high demand for quality town homes. The first three stages have completely sold out with only 50 per cent remaining for Stage 2B. A collaboration between Stockland and award-winning builders, Dale Alcock Projects, The Terraces at Calleya will be constructed in the thriving suburb of Treeby.

The project is forecast to create up to 300 local jobs over the next two years with completion expected early 2022.

Ideally located 25km south of the Perth CBD, The Terraces are surrounded by beautiful parks, retained bushland and nearby both Cockburn Gateway Shopping Centre and Cockburn Central Train Station.

The intelligently designed homes are available from $429,000 and provide a perfect balance of low maintenance living and unrivalled, sustainable design. Calleya holds a 6 Star Green Star Communities rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.

Stockland WA General Manager, Col Dutton said it was great to see people taking advantage of The Terraces home offering in Calleya, along with community benefits on offer.

"The Terrace Homes at Calleya have been immensley popular, with buyers loving the high-quality design, open plan living and great location," Mr Dutton said.

"The success of The Terrace homes first four stages has influenced our decision to not only accelerate the construction of Stage 2C but also make it the largest stage in the development.

Dale Alcock, Managing Director and founder of Dale Alcock Projects said it was encouraging to see so many buyers embracing townhouse design as part of the increased choice of housing that has been so badly needed in Perth.

"Accelerated activity in the market, intelligent home design and a popular, well-located development have combined to prove that affordable housing is moving forward, and buyers now have more choice than ever when it comes to buying a home," Mr Alcock said.
