There’s a lot to think about when considering your retirement village options. As you get settled in and start making the most of your new community, Stockland offers a free six-month money back guarantee* to give you added peace-of-mind if you decide to leave the village. Our change of mind guarantee refunds all payments that are made to Stockland within your first six months, giving you an added layer of reassurance when choosing to make the move into one of our retirement villages nationwide. Of course we’re sure you’ll love your new community so much, you won’t need it.
How does it work

When you choose to move into a Stockland Retirement Village, it’s often a brand new prospect, environment and lifestyle for new residents. With a supportive and thriving community on your doorstep, Stockland Retirement Living provides endless new and exciting opportunities to enjoy your retirement and explore a better way to live.

We’re confident our incoming residents will love the retirement lifestyle so much, we offer a six-month money back guarantee*. It’s our promise to you that if you choose to move out within six months, we’ll refund any amounts paid to Stockland for your home.

What does it mean

The six-month money back guarantee* gives you peace of mind that if you’re not completely settled in your new home and choose to move out, you have the option to do so without owing Stockland anything.

In fact, we’ll even organise a full refund and support you throughout the process.

What are the terms and conditions

As with all agreements, there are terms and conditions which apply to our six-month money-back guarantee to help protect all parties.

In short, if you change your mind, everything you’ve paid directly to Stockland will be refunded to you in full.

However, there are some external third party costs associated with a move that apply to your agreement with Stockland which we’re unable to refund. These costs may include things like removalist fees and stamp duty or ongoing bills (e.g. utilities) in relation to your home.

Full details of the guarantee can be found in all of our contract terms and conditions.

What’s the difference between the six-month money-back guarantee and the free trial offer?

Our six-month money-back guarantee* gives you the flexibility to change your mind at any point within your first six months of moving into one of our retirement villages.

But if you’re looking for something a little less permanent and just want to try before you buy, we do also offer a two week commitment-free trial – meaning you can experience life in one of our many retirement villages across the country for two weeks, completely free of charge.

Our goal is to support you in making the right move in your retirement so we want to give you the flexibility and freedom to make the right decision for you.
