Stockland is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for everyone who works with us or attends our workplace. We believe that health and safety must always be a business priority, and that we all have a personal responsibility for health, safety and welfare.
As a proactive response to the global outbreak of COVID-19, Stockland has introduced new measures for visitors, contractors and residents in all our Retirement Village locations. These measures are precautionary and have been introduced in the best interests of our residents, staff, business partners, vendors, and guests.
Please note that until further notice, all visitors, contractors or residents who meet any of the below criteria will be unable to access any Stockland Retirement Living Community Centres or Clubhouses, Staff or Sales offices or any other community space located within a Village:
a) have travelled overseas (including any country) in the last 14 days - commencing midnight Sunday 15 March 2020, all travellers arriving in Australia on international flights are required to self-isolate for 14 days as a directive from the Federal Government;
b) have been in close contact with someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days;
c) are experiencing flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing);
d) have not been vaccinated against influenza after the 1st of May 2020.
In addition, visitors, contractors and residents who access the Community space are asked to adhere to the following gathering guidelines at all times:
a) Groups sizes limited to three people;
b) Social distancing of 1.5m to be in place;
c) Limit visitation to short periods of time.
