Plenty of fun had by all ages at Fig Tree

Family CARE Day at Fig Tree Village was a great success with a big turnout. Everyone had fun!

Residents celebrated family on Sunday with free lunch, face painting, treasure hunt, craft and more.  Proceeds on the day went towards four charities.

The Stockland Foundation Fortnight last year was a great success, raising $125,000 and building much-needed awareness for the support Redkite provides children and young people with cancer.

The Foundation Fortnight is part of the Stockland CARE Foundation's ongoing commitment to creating healthy communities. It's an annual two-week period of family events and activities in Stockland's shopping centres and retirement villages across Australia.

Redkite team members joined the Stockland team at CARE Day and Grandparents Day, volunteering their time to support a partnership that has had a big impact on families facing cancer.

The final Saturday of the fortnight was CARE Day at Stockland retail centres, with fun-filled activities like face painting, kite origami, colouring-in and jumping castles.

The following day, seven Stockland retirement villages held Grandparents' Day, a day for friends and family to come together and take part in activities like treasure hunts, kite-making and story time.

The proceeds from Stockland's Foundation Fortnight will provide 50 families facing cancer with a range of Redkite's essential services for 12 months.
