Stockland has announced its 2021 CARE Grant recipients, awarding $7,000 to seven local community groups in Brisbane.

In 2021, Stockland has awarded $285,000 in grants to 285 local groups, clubs and programs across Australia who support health, well being, community connection, education or local environmental initiatives.

Salford Waters Retirement Estate has awarded one of the grants to Special Olympics Australia - Redlands.

Nearby Farrington Grove Retirement Estate awarded a grant to Willmore Kindergarten and Preschool Inc and Kallangur Primary P&C Association, while Fig Tree Village awarded a grants to Dayboro Men’s Shed and Fig Tree Village Residents’ Forum and Greenleaves Retirement Village awarded grants to Gabba Hill Community Garden Inc and Probus Club of Holland Park Central.

Amy Hogan, National Manager of Group Sustainability at Stockland, said: “We’re proud to once again help so many community groups across the country, and to celebrate such a significant milestone for the CARE Grants program, having donated over $2 million since it first launched in 2014.

“Our vision is to be a leading Australian property company that also strongly prioritises investing in our communities and country.

“The CARE Grants program underwrites this vision by recognising the contributions that these hundreds of recipients make to their communities every single day, and supporting our purpose in creating ‘a better way to live’.

“We’re pleased to continue our support of local organisations whose great work, dedication and commitment are an essential part of helping any community to thrive.”

The Stockland CARE Grants program, now in its eighth year, has distributed over $2 million in funding to more than 2,000 local community groups nationally.

Earlier this year, Stockland also pledged a donation of $20,000 to Good360 for flood relief to ensure that essential goods were distributed to flood-affected areas near our assets quickly and efficiently.

Stockland CARE Grants is an annual program run throughout communities located near a Stockland Retail, Residential or Retirement Living community, and provides local organisations with funding support to help them establish more cohesive, inclusive and engaging programs.
