One of the many perks of living at Stockland Salford Waters is the freedom to participate in activities as little or as much as you like. Whether you’re a seasoned socialite, or prefer quieter pursuits, there’s something or someone to share time with creating new memories.

Those lucky enough to live at Salford Waters, relish in the incredible offering of activities. If you’re considering joining our community, make sure to take note of our extensive social calendar - one glance will provide endless opportunities for enjoyment. Browse a wide range of engaging activities to suit your interests and needs, the choice is yours.

Many of our active residents enjoy our weekly exercise class, weekly exercises, singers group, social indoor bowls group and Line Dancing, plus many more. For those looking for something a little more laid-back, passive activities include craft, art and writers groups. Enhance your everyday routine and surround yourself with those that share your interests – you’re bound to make new friends.

The Residents’ Social Committee meet regularly to plan outings and compile the monthly social calendar. If you’ve got a great idea for months to come, be sure to volunteer it – input is very much welcome!

Our community spirit extends to our staff, with each and every member of the village committed to creating an inviting atmosphere. Dorelle Weick spoke about the importance of the social aspect of village life, she says:

"The new craft room is popular and when you walk in, there are so many sign-on sheets for all the groups. It's great to work in such an active village with something for everyone. So many people I meet come from situations where they have felt isolated and lonely and they really look forward to many of the social activities on offer at the village"

The craft room (pictured below) was recently renovated to provide a more multi-purpose space with wet area, storage, display shelving and seating for larger groups.

So, what are you waiting for? Make the most of your low-maintenance village lifestyle and spend time sharing your skills and enjoying others company. With such exciting activities on offer, the only issue will be finding the time to fit it all in - what a lovely problem to have.
