Rotary Adelaide wins Ridgehaven Community Grant

80 residents gathered for the cheque giving ceremony for this year’s Stockland Community Grants Winner for Ridgehaven – Rotary Adelaide.
“A big thank you to Stockland and Ridgehaven Rise. We are extremely grateful and supportive of Stockland and their generosity and continued support of such community support.” said Ollie Clark, Rotary Adelaide during the presentation.
The grant will be used to help support local Sth Australian teams competing in the National Science & Engineering Challenge. A national competition for year 9 & 10 high school students to come up with energy saving ideas.

Ridgehaven Village Manager, John Neill presented to the cheque to Ollie on behalf of the residents. “Our residents feel a great deal of pride to be involved with such an initiative and see such grants going to deserved organisations and at the same time showing off their Village and strong sense of community through such events.”
After the cheque was presented everyone enjoyed a wonderful morning tea to celebrate. The Ridgehaven residents love the Community Grants program and feel it’s very important to be an active part of the wider community. Jenny Wotton said “it’s great to see this initiative continue year on year and it reflects our strong community awareness.”
