We understand the importance of good health in retirement, which is why we’ve launched Benefits+ Health, an initiative that gives you proactive health support centred around your needs.
The Benefits+ program is the first of its kind, bringing together a range of trusted health professional partners who address key health matters and interests of our residents including:
- Healthy conversations – each month one of our health professional partners visits for a “healthy conversation” where they speak about a topic that affects our residents. These are interactive presentations using the latest up-to-date evidence-based research. If needed, residents can then arrange for a private conversation and service within our Professional Services Rooms located in our villages.
- Get the latest information – each presentation is backed up with the latest information on the topic, through brochures and booklets and how to access support. These are found at our ‘Health Hub’ – the one-stop-shop of health support information in each village.
- Care and support partnerships – we have dedicated in-home care and support partners who can help you assess your need for support now and into the future. Using your myagedcare.gov.au Home Care Package, you can pay for eligible serviced apartment services through our provider partners – keeping you living independently for as long as possible.
To support a healthy community, all Benefits+ Health sessions are open to residents, their carers, families and friends as well as Stockland employees.
