There’s a reason they call them the golden years – retirement is often the happiest time of our lives. Here at Stockland, our residents health and happiness are our top priorities. So, in order to maintain our vibrant communities, we conduct an annual survey which helps us to continue to improve.
Living in a Stockland retirement village means that you have more time to spend doing what you love, surrounded by a community of like-minded people. At Stockland, we strive to create a place where you can live life to the fullest, a place that truly feels like home.

According to our 2017 Residents Voice Survey, our residents tend to agree. At Burnside Village residents voted Overall Happiness with Resident’s Own Home as 90%,  Happiness with Village Manager as 91% and Happiness with Nurse/Lifestyle or Wellbeing Coordinator as 95%.

Our team are pleased with the levels of satisfaction within their village community. Take Sales Professional, Kailee Barlow for example. Kailee is the first point of contact when a customer enquires about Burnside Village and knows how significant these results are.

“Burnside is a beautifully maintained and well-managed village, and that all comes down to the village manager. Kien is exceptional at his job, always listening to resident feedback and constantly striving to make improvements where needed. It makes my job all the more easier when people visit the village and have an instant ‘wow’ reaction when driving through the front gates.”

“Karen is our full-time nurse and is an asset to our team. She assists our residents with their health and wellbeing, and facilitates visiting health professionals like GPs and podiatrists, providing an extra level of convenience for our residents.”

What better way to spend your golden years than surrounded by new friends, feeling connected and engaged in a home that suits your needs?
