There’s a reason they call them the golden years – retirement is often the happiest time of our lives. Here at Stockland, our residents health and happiness are our top priorities. So, in order to maintain our vibrant communities, we conduct an annual survey which helps us to continue to improve.

Living in a Stockland retirement village means that you have more time to spend doing what you love, surrounded by a community of like-minded people. At Stockland, we strive to create a place where you can live life to the fullest, a place that truly feels like home.

According to our 2017 Residents Voice Survey, our residents tend to agree. Residents at Donvale voted as 8.7 overall happiness with village, and an 8.3 in their likeness to recommend the village as a place to live.

Our team are pleased with the levels of satisfaction within their Village community. Take Donvale Village Manager, Pauline Bates for example. We sat down with Pauline  to talk about how incredibly proud she is of these results.

“It is always very gratifying to see so many of our residents participating in, and  enjoying, the vast array of social events and group activities that are a feature of life at Donvale village. The Spring fete in October proved to be a great success yet again, not just in terms of the financial proceeds it delivered, but  just as importantly for the value it delivers in bringing so many residents together  working with a common purpose. It’s great to see!”

What better way to spend your golden years than surrounded by new friends, feeling connected and engaged in a home that suits your needs?
