One of the many perks of living at Stockland Donvale Retirement Village is the freedom to participate in activities as little or as much as you like. Whether you’re a seasoned socialite, or prefer quieter pursuits, there’s something or someone to share time with creating new memories.
Those lucky enough to live at  Donvale Village, relish in the incredible offering of activities. If you’re considering joining our community, make sure to take note of our extensive social calendar - one glance will provide endless opportunities for enjoyment. Browse a wide range of engaging activities to suit your interests and needs, the choice is yours.
Many of our active residents enjoy our weekly exercise class, table tennis, social bowls group and gardening club.  For those looking for something a little more laid-back, passive activities include book club, mah-jong, movie night and happy hour. Enhance your everyday routine and surround yourself with those that share your interests – you’re bound to make new friends.
The Residents’ Social Committee meet regularly to plan outings and compile the monthly social calendar. If you’ve got a great idea for months to come, be sure to volunteer it – input is very much welcome!
Our community spirit extends to our staff, with each and every member of the village committed to creating an inviting atmosphere. Jane Bensch, Lifestyle & Wellbeing Coordinator, spoke about the importance of the social aspect of village life.
“Our objective is to maintain a lifestyle and activities program which delivers opportunities  for meaningful engagement, inclusion and enjoyment, and is responsive to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. Spoiled for choice is an expression we can never hear too often.”

So, what are you waiting for? Make the most of your low-maintenance village lifestyle and spend time sharing your skills and enjoying others company. With such exciting activities on offer, the only issue will be finding the time to fit it all in - what a lovely problem to have.
