New development offers more affordable housing options for seniors

Demand for more seniors living options has seen Gillin Park Retirement Village begin construction on brand new homes this month.

The development will also include the construction of our highly anticipated clubhouse which will feature:
  • Indoor gym, outdoor petanque court & golf putting area
  • Lounge, recreation & billiards area
  • Multi-purpose, library & craft room
  • Kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas
  • Consulting rooms for visiting health professionals
  • Village administration, management and sales offices
The new clubhouse will be located near the main village entrance off Mahoneys Road, with five new homes being constructed to the right of the entrance. The remaining two homes will be located further inside the village, next to the Serviced Apartment building.

“Once construction is complete, it will really provide a sense of connectedness with the clubhouse at the heart of the village and new homes going on previously vacant land,” said Narelle Cook, Village Manager.

“The residents are excited about the clubhouse construction as they were involved in the design, and to see it built will be a great achievement for them.”

Construction is expected to occur over 12 months, however the new homes can be purchased off-the-plan due to limited stock to ensure you don’t miss out!

The exciting addition of the clubhouse will offer a larger communal space for our residents to share, and  facilities to boost their health and wellbeing. And the new homes will mean more friends to join in all the fun activities on offer in the new clubhouse!
